Kellogg has long been committed to meeting students where they are and addressing the needs of students and the marketplace by offering an innovative portfolio of program offerings. As we approach the end of one cycle and look ahead to the next, it is a great time to review the unique offerings of Kellogg.
Full-Time MBA Programs
Two-Year MBA — The most traditional of our offerings, the Two-Year MBA is an immersive experience perfect for candidates looking to pivot or accelerate their career. The 2Y program is grounded in Kellogg’s core curriculum, providing all students with the broad range of knowledge required for all business leaders. Students are able to take advantage of a summer internship between years 1 and 2 and finish their experience with higher level electives and an on-campus or enterprise job search.
One-Year MBA — The One-Year MBA is perfect for candidates who are looking to accelerate their career and have already had some business focused education. Candidates to the 1Y program leverage their prior education to waive out of the majority of Kellogg core requirements allowing them to dive directly into higher level electives. Without the opportunity to complete an internship, this program is best for those who are staying in the same industry or who have a background to support a career pivot. 1Y students have full access to Kellogg career management services, clubs and classes and enjoy the benefit of being away from the work force for just one year.
MMM — The MMM program is an exciting choice for candidates looking to pursue a career focused on driving innovation and using design thinking. A truly integrated program executed in collaboration with the McCormick School of Engineering, Segal Design Institute, it is a one-of-a-kind offering among MBA programs. Students complete one extra quarter during their first year and take advantage of the summer between years 1 and 2 to complete an internship. MMM students are in high demand with tech and consulting companies including Apple, Amazon, McKinsey, Microsoft, Zynga and many more.
JD-MBA — Having a deep understanding of the dynamic intersection of Law and Business is what makes a JD-MBA graduate differentiated in the marketplace. JD-MBAs earn two degrees in three years — the Kellogg MBA and the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law JD — and access to career services and clubs across the two schools. This smaller, close-knit cohort includes dynamic students who plan to pursue both business and law careers or one that meets at their intersection.
All of the Full-Time Programs are characterized by a rigorous academic program taught by Kellogg’s dynamic and involved faculty and the collaborative, low-ego, high-impact Kellogg community. This combination provides all students with a transformative MBA experience providing the opportunity for students to become the impactful leader the world needs.
